Delivery Charges, Bed, Mattress & Furniture Delivery

We only sell Products within Singapore and can only ship to a location where we can provide a delivery service.  We do not make deliveries outside of Singapore.

Delivery of Products

Although every effort is made to deliver your order according to the estimated delivery times provided, estimated delivery times may change due to changes in supply or circumstances beyond our control.  

Littlewode will make every effort to deliver your product according to the estimated delivery times and payment processing identified at checkout.  Estimated delivery times are in business days and exclude public holidays.

We may need to contact you via telephone to arrange a delivery date and timeframe for certain products.

At the time of placing your order online, you will be advised and charged the delivery and assembly fee.  There may be additional fees however, depending on the factors listed above.  The final delivery fee will be confirmed by us to  you before we accept your order.  If you do not accept any additional delivery fee, you may choose to cancel your order in which case Littlewode will arrange to refund your payment.

Due to the nature of bulky goods and potential construction time, order delivery times may vary from what is stated on the Site.  Littlewode’s representative will call you to confirm delivery details and delivery timeframe.

You agree to comply with the delivery requirements specified below and such other requirements that we notify you when you place your order through the Site.

We recommend that you be present to accept the delivery of your order if you have paid by credit card.

We may require the person accepting the delivery of your order to:

(a)   provide us with proof of identity (including photographic identification) and, where relevant, age. If the order has been paid by credit card, then we may also ask you to show us the credit card for us to conduct our verification checks; and

(b)    where relevant, provide us with proof of consent to use that credit card.

If there is no one or no appropriate person (for example, above 18 years old) at the delivery address to receive the order or, if you are required to be present at the time of delivery and you are not present at that time, then we will not deliver the Product you have ordered. In this instance, we will endeavour to contact you or you may contact us to arrange for delivery at a different time, and we may charge you an additional delivery fee for that replacement delivery.

You:

(a)   acknowledge and agree that any person at the delivery address who receives the Product is authorised by you to receive your order; and

(b)    will ensure that the person receiving the goods is over the required age as prescribed by law.

You must provide clear and unobstructed access area for the delivery of goods.  Difficult access requires prior notice and additional delivery personnel may be required and additional delivery charges may result.  Our personnel will at all times be diligent and careful, but cannot be responsible for any accidental damage that may occur during the delivery process.

Littlewode may advise approximate delivery times (such as 1-3pm, 3-5pm etc) in good faith however, Littlewode are not responsible for traffic and delivery delays. All customers shall accept delivery of goods within 14 days of notification that the goods are available for delivery unless a prior arrangement has been made. Where possible, storage can be arranged at customer cost.

Ownership of the goods described in the order shall remain with Littlewode until all of the following events have been completed:

  • Payment of all monies via chosen method

  • Delivery of the goods

You are responsible for the selected goods fitting into the intended area and through any passages and doorways that may have to be negotiated to their intended destination.

If you are in breach of any of these terms and conditions we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund any amounts paid for that order under these terms and conditions excluding the delivery fee.

 

Returns and Refunds Policy for Littlewode

Littlewode is a brand you know and can be trusted. Our Returns Policy is in addition to your statutory rights and outlines our commitment to you to ensure you are satisfied with your shopping experience either in store or online with us.

What to do if you would like to return an item:

Please choose carefully.  We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision.

(a) Please retain your receipt

In order to obtain a refund, exchange or to repair a product that you purchased from Littlewode, you must have a clear proof of purchase - typically a receipt or Tax Invoice.

Product is faulty?

Once proof of purchase has been established, if the product fault can safely and clearly be determined by our delivery team, we will offer you a refund, repair or exchange.

Where the product fault is difficult to determine by our delivery team, we will need to consult with our manufacturer or repair agent to determine the fault and resolution.

A timeline will be outlined to you to complete the process depending on the availability of required parts. Please be aware that most of our goods are sourced offshore and may require in excess of 60 days to source a replacement part or product.

Unfortunately, Littlewode cannot offer a refund or exchange where the product has sustained damage due to inappropriate use.  If the product does not match its advertised description, we will provide you with either a refund or source a new (if available) or similar product purchased.

 

What if I change my mind?

Please choose carefully.  The majority of Littlewode items cannot be resold for health or hygiene reasons once unwrapped or furniture orders have been placed to meet your specific order. Due to this reason we do not normally give refunds or offer exchanges or credits if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision.    

Littlewode may, in its absolute discretion offer you a refund, exchange or credit if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision if:

you have clear proof of purchase, typically a receipt;

the product and packaging is in its original condition (including manuals and accessories);

the product has not been used or soiled; and

the product is not on the Product Exclusion List (please see below).

Product Exclusion List

The Products listed below are excluded from ‘change of mind’ returns unless they meet the conditions set out above AND the packaging is unopened and/or the tags are still attached:

 bed sheets (bed linen);

duvets;

Pillows, pillow cases, pillow protectors;

bed protectors (mattress protectors);

self-assembly furniture if part or fully assembled;

items which have been installed using our installation service;

beds, mattresses that have been slept on and dining table, chair, sofas, cabinets etc that have been used.

 

Cancelling an order:

A cancellation fee of 25% is applicable on the total price. You may not incur a cancellation fee if the goods are delivered damaged or if Littlewode is not entitled to charge a cancellation fee under any relevant legislation. It is your responsibility to inform the store of purchase if any change of address or contact details.

Littlewode may request your personal information during the refund or exchange process, what do we do with the information?

We respect your right to privacy. We have policies and procedures to ensure that all personal information no matter how or where it is obtained, is handled sensitively. We will handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Please note:

If a refund is granted, we will refund the original purchase price in the form of the previous method of payment indicated on the receipt (if possible) minus any delivery charges and/or cancellation charges
