Q. Are there any stores where I can see your products in person?

Littlewode operates both online and with a walk-in retail store in an effort to make great design accessible to everyone. The full catalogue is available online, with most of the children furniture products available for viewing in-store at 38 Jalan Pemimpin, Level 4, #04-07 M38, Singapore 577178. For more information, please refer to "Contact Us"

 

Q. How do I proceed with buying?

You may order online hassle-free, or visit our store at 38 Jalan Pemimpin, Level 4, #04-07 M38, Singapore 577178, to make an in-store purchase.

To order your purchase online :-

  1. Click “Add to cart” button on the products you wish to purchase.

  2. Click “Continue Shopping” to continue add other products into the cart or click “Checkout” to proceed with your payment for the products.

  3. You'll reach a log in page where you need to log in your account using your Username and Password. If you don't have an account created, you can check out as "guest" and proceed to the next page.

  4. You'll need to confirm/input your shipping address on the “Shipping Address” page and click “next” button.

  5. From here, you need to select your shipping methods and click “next” button.

  6. Next you'll need to choose your payment method (we currently only accept PAYPAL) then click “next” button.

  7. You will see a summary of the items purchased, please check and if everything is correct, click "Place order" and you will be re-direct to PAYPAL website for making payment by Visa, Mastercard and AMEX.  If you do not have a PAYPAL account, please select "guest" to make payment using Visa, Mastercard & AMEX.


Q: How long does it take to get my furniture?

Littlewode keeps a wide variety of items in stock for customers who are looking for rapid delivery. Ready stock items can be delivered within 3 working days. For indented / pre-order items, the lead time for delivery is approximately 8 -16 weeks. For more details, please refer to the individual item product page or Contact us. We deliver Tuesday to Saturday. There is no delivery on Sunday and public holidays. Please indicated the delivery date required during checkout and we will get back to you on the delivery timing available.


Q: If I do not want my order to be delivered immediately, how long can you hold for me?

As we rely on oversea orders, stock available now may not be available soon. It may takes 8 -16 weeks for items sold out to be available again. We do encourage you to place order in advance to enable us to reserve for you. There will be no additon charges for holding the items for you.

 

Q: What is your delivery and installation charges?

Littlewode provides free delivery and installation for orders amounting to S$500.00 and above, to one local address on mainland Singapore during operating hours (10am to 5.30pm). Otherwise, delivery will be charged at nominal rate of S$30.00. Please ensure that the delivery address is correct and someone is around to receive the delivery as additional charges (S$60.00)will be incurred for re-delivery. Addition charges of $20 per floor level will be impost for bringing items up to your house level or room.

 

Q: What should I do upon receiving the goods?

You are responsible for ensuring the goods are received in good condition upon delivery. Upon delivery, you must sign to agree that the items have been received in good condition and that your order is complete. Should there be any damages or defects upon delivery, you must notify the delivery team immediately. You have the right to reject the damaged or defective items upon delivery (except for clearance, display piece, and free gifts) at no charge if the claim is valid. We will contact you within 1 working day for further action. Once the delivery order is signed with no discrepancies, it is deemed that the order is accepted by you in good condition. If you do not wish to inspect the items upon delivery, it is deemed that the order is accepted by you in good order and condition. Any claim made after the delivery team has left your premise will not be entertained.

Should there be any damages, we aim to have the item available at the earliest available date, subject to the next available shipment. In the event an exchange cannot be made, Littlewode reserves the right to offer a substitute or refund.

 

Q: Does your furniture come with a warrantee?

Littlewode has been providing the highest quality bedroom furniture and accessories in Singapore families since 2009. As a result, we stand behind all makes and models, long after the standard manufacturer warranty (1 year) has expired. We are always willing to assist customers whenever possible. If you purchase from us, and you have a problem, just call. Anything we can do, we will do.

 

Q: What is the proper method of caring & cleaning my wooden furniture?

Wood furniture is finished with a fine lacquer top coat which adds to its beauty and helps preserve the chosen colour. No wood or wood finish is indestructible and you must provide regular care and maintenance.

  • Clean up spills immediately, as all liquids will damage lacquer finishes.

  • Never use cleaners that contain ammonia, abrasives, silicones or acetone, as these chemicals will damage lacquer finishes.

  • Avoid direct sunlight, as sunlight causes fading.

  • Do not write, drag, drop or place heavy items directly on surface, as all woods can be damaged.

  • Periodically check and retighten any hardware as necessary. Do not over-tighten.

  • For White lacquered surfaces: use clean and lukewarm water, possibly with mild soapy water.

 

Q: What types of furniture does Littlewode carry?

Littlewode carries a variety of beds, bunk beds, loft beds, low lofts, captain’s beds, storage beds, trundle beds, daybeds, and standard single/Super Single, Queen and European Single. We carry a wide spectrum of manufacturers to satisfy everyone’s tastes, ranging from solid woods (pinewood, rubberwood KSK) to MDF and veneers.

 

Q: Why the colour and finish different from what I see online?

The color and finish you see online may not match the actual finish you receive for many reasons including your computer monitor, seasonality, graining and texture. Please ask us or visit our store to see the actual product prior to ordering.

WOOD IS UNIQUE - EXPECT VARIATIONS IN GRAINING, COLOR, FIT & FINISHING.
 Wood is porous and will expand and contract due to humidity changes in the home. Changes in temperature or humidity can cause joints to open & close and/or wood to warp and crack. Extreme changes may also cause moisture to become trapped under the finish and cause cracking & peeling. As wood expands and contracts it may cause cracking in the joints of painted furniture which is considered normal and unavoidable. Standard painters sealant is easy to use and works well as a concealer.

 

Q: Why are knots visible on white painted surfaces in the Nordic collection.

For Nordic Collection, the furniture is mainly made from slowly growing pinewood.  Unique for these natural, valuable and environmental-friendly raw materials are the many irregularities, like small splits, small and large knots, differences in color, twisting and bending, which the processing cannot eliminate completely.

These genuine characters witness from decades long growth in the forests.  Some knots are replaced with wax.  On white painted surfaces, the knots can become visible after some time.  Resin discharge can occur, since the lacquer is manufactured on natural basis.  This procedure witness from the authenticity of the nature material.  It is not a reason for a complaint or defect.
