To order your purchase online :-

1. Click “Add to cart” button on the products you wish to purchase.
2. Click “Continue Shopping” to continue add other products into the cart or click “Checkout” to proceed with your payment for the products.
3. You'll reach a log in page where you need to log in your account using your Username and Password. If you don't have an account created, you can check out as "guest" and proceed to the next page.
4. You'll need to confirm/input your shipping address on the “Shipping Address” page and click “next” button.
5. From here, you need to select your shipping methods and click “next” button.
6. Next you'll need to choose your payment method (we currently only accept PAYPAL and PAYNOW) then click “next” button.
7. You will see a summary of the items purchased, please check and if everything is correct, click "Place order" and you will be re-direct to PAYPAL website for making payment by Visa, Mastercard and AMEX. If you do not have a PAYPAL account, please select "guest" to make payment using Visa, Mastercard & AMEX.

Littlewode keeps a wide variety of items in stock for customers who are looking for rapid delivery. Ready stock items can be delivered within 3 working days. For indented / pre-order items, the lead time for delivery is approximately 8 -16 weeks. For more details, please refer to the individual item product page or contact us. We deliver Tuesday to Saturday. There is no delivery on Sunday and public holidays. Please indicated the delivery date required during checkout and we will get back to you on the delivery timing available.

As we rely on oversea orders, stock available now may not be available soon. It may takes 8 -16 weeks for items sold out to be available again. We do encourage you to place order in advance to enable us to reserve for you. There will be no addition charges for holding the items for you.

Littlewode provides free delivery and installation for orders amounting to S$500.00 and above, to one local address on mainland Singapore during operating hours (10am to 5.30pm). Otherwise, delivery will be charged at nominal rate of S$30.00. Please ensure that the delivery address is correct and someone is around to receive the delivery as additional charges (S$60.00)will be incurred for re-delivery. Addition charges of $20 per floor level / per item will be impost for bringing items up to your house level or room.

You are responsible for ensuring the goods are received in good condition upon delivery. Upon delivery, you must sign to agree that the items have been received in good condition and that your order is complete. Should there be any damages or defects upon delivery, you must notify the delivery team immediately. You have the right to reject the damaged or defective items upon delivery (except for clearance, display piece, and free gifts) at no charge if the claim is valid. We will contact you within 1 working day for further action. Once the delivery order is signed with no discrepancies, it is deemed that the order is accepted by you in good condition. If you do not wish to inspect the items upon delivery, it is deemed that the order is accepted by you in good order and condition. Any claim made after the delivery team has left your premise will not be entertained.

Should there be any damages, we aim to have the item available at the earliest available date, subject to the next available shipment. In the event an exchange cannot be made, Littlewode reserves the right to offer a substitute or refund.

 Wood is porous and will expand and contract due to humidity changes in the home. Changes in temperature or humidity can cause joints to open & close and/or wood to warp and crack. Extreme changes may also cause moisture to become trapped under the finish and cause cracking & peeling. As wood expands and contracts it may cause cracking in the joints of painted furniture which is considered normal and unavoidable. Standard painters sealant is easy to use and works well as a concealer.

How can I fix my child’s squeaky bed?

A squeaky bed can be disturbing for both your own and your child’s sleep, if the bed is squeaking as the child is turning over, or as you sneak out of bed after reading bedtime stories. Being a parent, you have probably experienced periods of constant sleep deficiency and all the discomforts that brings along.

A good night’s sleep is important for you and for your child, and there are different actions to take to reduce or remove the noise from a squeaky bed. On this page, we have gathered information and advice on what you can do to fix a squeaky bed.

Why is my bed squeaking?

The ecolabelled beds from Hoppekids are made of solid wood. This ensures that we can produce natural and healthy furniture that's good for the environment and your indoor climate. The wood we use comes from FSC-certified forestry, which makes sure that no more wood is cut down than what is re-planted.

Wood is a living material that is affected by changes in temperature and humidity. So, depending on the temperature and humidity of the room in which the bed is placed, the bed can budge a bit. This movement can cause the bed to make some squeaky sounds.

Tips for fixing a squeaky bed

1. Check and tighten all screws. Check all screws and make sure they are used properly according to the assembly instruction. Wood can – as mentioned – budge a bit due to temperature and humidity, and so it might be necessary to tighten the screws after a while.
   
2. Check the slats. The slats must be screwed to the bed, without touching the bed frame. This goes for both the sides and ends of the bed. So, make sure there is space between each slat and the bed frame.
   
3. Place felt under the slats. By placing pieces of felt where the wood adjoins, the friction between the pieces of wood – and thereby the squeaking – will be reduced or cease. For example under the slats, so they can't move against the frame.

It is important for the stability of the bed that the slats sit firmly – and are screwed tightly. Always make sure there is a bit of room between the slats and the bed frame. It makes a big difference that the screws are used properly, so the bed is steady.

For Nordic Collection from Hoppekids, the furniture is mainly made from slowly growing pinewood. Unique for these natural, valuable and environmental-friendly raw materials are the many irregularities, like small splits, small and large knots, differences in color, twisting and bending, which the processing cannot eliminate completely.

These natural characteristics are evidence of decades of growth in the forests. Some knots are replaced with wax. Products in clear-coated pine wood are light in color, but over time, depending on factors such as light and sun in the room, the wood may darken and different colors may appear.

On white-painted surfaces, the knots may become visible. Resin secretion may occur as the lacquer is made on a natural basis. This process is a result of using natural and authentic materials in production. Therefore, it cannot be accepted as a material and/or manufacturing defect.
